The fact that Tupelo has supported an all professional symphony orchestra for over 40 years is next to impossible. If you have ever bought a ticket, you have helped this miracle to continue. The presence of the Tupelo Symphony in our community has made the Arts Advantage a reality in our schools. We all desire that our children have advantages. What could be more important than the Arts Advantage? Statistics show that students who study music and/or play an instrument make better grades than those who have no instructions in music or the arts.
