Tupelo Symphony Orchestra, the only all professional orchestra in North Mississippi, is made up of 65-70 professional musicians from the surrounding region of Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee.

The TSO joins other distinguished orchestras across the US as a participant in the Ford Made in America commissioning project and presents the premier of a new work by the dynamic American composer Joseph Schwantner. The orchestra will also premier a beautiful and moving choral memorial written for the late Pope John Paul II composed by a young Polish composer Bartek Chajdecki. This extraordinary program concludes with Beethoven’s mighty and powerful Symphony No. 9
